I made a couple of quick changes to the forum because of all the spamming. Please see the Katie Cassidy Fan section for more information on the changes. Christopher Gorham, who played Henry on Harper’s Island, is answering questions today about the season. Head on over to his twitter and check it out and even ask your own questions if you want!
@chris_gorham said: RT @jtwalls When did you find out, but do you feel the secrecy led to any potential continuity issues in story/performances? /Me: Ep 7, and no. Not on accident. I did give knowing/not knowing options in a couple scenes (like at the morgue) but I never let it “accidentally” slip. Keeping the secret off set, with the cast, was the maybe my best performance. No one else knew until the ep 12 script came out. Katie was pissed that I hadn’t told her. I got to be the one to tell Matt Barr the truth, before he’d read it. We were sitting in LAX and had a real life scene not unlike in the show – different ending. : ) PS – @cjthomason came closest to breaking me.
And finally, here are a few articles about Harper’s Island. Harper’s Island will be released onto DVD September 8th, 2009. Head over HERE to PRE-ORDER your copy. No word about bonus material but here’s to crossing our fingers!
“– I have never seen a more focused actress than Katie Cassidy preparing and shooting her death scene. It was freezing outside, all she had on was a wedding dress, running barefoot, getting stabbed, and she shed genuine tears during every take, over four hours worth of tears. Amazing actress.
“Along the same line as Gorham, both Cassidys deserve a shout-out. Trish’s death scene was excellently done by Katie Cassidy and Elaine Cassidy had some nice work at the end when she was being held captive. So well done all around to those three.”
“So yeah. That theory of mine was totally right except for the ways in which it was wrong. And I’d pretty much abandoned my suspicions of Henry. If you’d asked me before the start of tonight’s finale, I’d have guessed that Trish was Wakefield’s daughter. I still think my solution is cooler and I like the idea of Katie Cassidy as a stone-cold killer, but maybe she’ll live up to that potential in The CW’s new “Melrose Place.”

Katie attended an event hosted by Louis Vuitton the other day in Beverly Hills and brought her cute boyfriend, LA Laker Sasha Vujacic! They look adorable together and Katie looks really happy, so please keep negative comments off the tag board about him (and out of respect leave out Jesse too ;]). If the rumors are true, they’ve been dating for a while! Check out the images in the gallery as well as one new picture Jem shared with us from May when Katie was doing UPFRONTs in New York. I apologize for lack of updates as well. Katie’s been busy filming, and because of this its hard to get news to share. Plus, with both of our schedules (Kirstie and mine) its hard to update every single day. We really do appreciate all your help and we check the tag board and emails as often as we can! Thank you guys so much for sticking around and helping us keep KCF your number one source for Katie. :) In more Katie news, she starts filming Melrose again on the 14th It turns out we were misinformed! Thank you, Jamie, for the correction! Melrose Place started filming yesterday. She has just wrapped up A Nightmare On Elm Street and in addition to the busy week, Harper’s Island is also new this Saturday (Thursday for you lucky Canadians!). Not only is it a new episode, but the last episode. After months of waiting we’ll FINALLY know who the killer is! I know I’m not the only one anticipating this episode. Leave us a message in the tag board with what you think!

This interview doesn’t involve Katie, but I thought it was really interesting. Hitfix interviewed Dean Chekvala who plays JD on Harper’s Island and questioned him about who he thinks the killer is. Here are his responses:
HitFix: Since it sounds like you’re in the dark on where things went after you left, what’s your hunch? Give me some theories…
DC: Oh, I’ve blamed that little girl, from the beginning. Not to be trusted. I’ve always thought it might have been Abby, you know? Every week, we’d be like “Who do you think it is? Who do you think it is?” and talk amongst ourselves and try to convince each other on who we thought it was and from the very beginning, I created my own scenario, based on new evidence whatsoever, but I was like, “I think it’s going to be Abby, because that might be cool.” I don’t know how they would tell that story, but it might be her. Then I switched every week, like “Oh, it’s the sheriff!” and then “Oh, it’s Jimmy, the native kid.” So I’m kinda anxious and really interested to see what new information they’re going to start revealing about these peoples’ relationships that will make it more clear. That’s where the story is at now. You definitely know the premise, but what you always constantly learn are the secrets that they hold. They’re not necessarily out-of-nowhere secrets, where sometimes you’re like “Well, if I’d know that, of course I would have known.” But in this case, it works because the people involved, seeing it through their eyes, have to earn those secrets being told, they have to discover them. And that changes the game plan for them and for the audience. As long as they keep that consistent, it should be really interesting.
HitFix: Do you think viewers paying attention might be able to figure out the clues, or will there be a lot of explaining done in the finale?
DC: I think a little of both. Let’s say, after the finale, you’re like, “Really? Does that really work?” Then I think if you’d go back and rewatch them, you’d be able to see the clues. But to remember the clues? I don’t know. I probably won’t be able to . It’s way too much information, since you don’t really know what even is a clue. At this point, every move that someone makes, you could be like “That’s a clue!” There are clues all over the place, I’m sure, but I’m not that good at figuring out what’s a clue and what’s not. They’re doing a really good job of, not tricking you, but making you believe something else is important, while you miss the important thing. I feel like you could figure it out and you probably will by the end, but if you go back, you might see more clues from the beginning. I’m hoping that they put that in there.
You can read the rest of the interview here!

I am just going to put all the updates I have in this one so I don’t scroll the entire website :-)
- You can check out an interview Katie did with Average Girl here! She talks about how she ignores peer pressure of trying to be skinny and staying perfect.
- The paparazzi have been bugging Katie all week in New York City. You can see a video of her entering Madison Square Garden and leaving for the CW Upfront here! She is in the beginning and then again in the end. I suggest just letting it buffer the whole way through and then skipping around.
- Katie did a show awhile back called Listen Up. You can see some captures from it in our gallery and also check out a video of her in it!
- She also was in a short lived show called Sex, Love, and Secrets. Here is a clip.
There is always a bunch of articles floating around about Katie in Melrose Place and Harper’s Island. If you “google news” them you’ll find a bunch. I just don’t post them because in my opinion, they’re rather boring and really repetitive. I just leave the fun stuff for you guys!
By the way – I didn’t get to catch Harper’s Island yet. How was it?! I’m thinking about watching it tonight before I go off to bed. Send in your clues to the killer!

I also added two clues and suggestions as to who the killer is on our new subpage: Clues to the Killer. Go submit!

Awesome opportunities just keep popping up for our lovely actress! Katie is involved in a survey on maxim.com to be on the cover of Maxim magazine. How awesome would that be?! So direct all your little butts to this link and vote for her. (I put all 1’s for everyone that wasn’t Katie and a 10 for Katie ;)).
SPOILER ATTENTION… What’d everyone think of last nights episode? I thought it was amazing! …Just made me even more confused than the last one. I honestly thought it was the dad that was killing everyone, but after last night… well, I guess he died? That’s what the last scene looked like and then you heard Trish scream. How horrible is that? :-( Your dad dying the day before your wedding. Okay, enough morbid stuff! I’ve always had this gut feeling since day one that Trish was the killer but she’s had three attacks on just herself so far so I am leaning away from that now. Maybe it’s Henry?! It’s definitely going to be someone that you LEAST expect it to be. I mean, if I was the killer, I’d plan attacks on myself, too, so it doesn’t look like it’s me, yknow? Or maybe it’s that freakish little girl Madison… she has something to her that just bothers me. Ugh, why can’t all the episodes just come out at once?! I’m tempted to not watch any until the series is over and then watch them all at once on CBS.com! Except that was a total lie because I count the days until next Saturday.
