Just wanted to let everyone know who has been making banners and uploading them to the gallery… I have been looking through a bunch of them and they look really awesome, guys! I might be holding a contest for the next gallery layout and whoever has the best banner for it, will have theirs made into a layout for the gallery! Would you guys like to do that?!

After being down for awhile, Katie’s “official” site katiecassidy.net is back up! I only got to briefly look at it since I have been running around this weekend like crazy, but it’s exciting she finally has a official site up :-) DON’T FORGET ABOUT US, THOUGH, GUYS :-(!

For those of you who don’t know, when Katie was younger she modeled for Abercrombie! Jem found a picture of Katie in the Abercrombie magazine and I added it to the gallery.

We thought our new favorite TV show, Harper’s Island, couldn’t get any better after Harry Hamlin was disemboweled in the first episode. Then we saw Katie Cassidy. Starring as Trish Wellington, the radiant bride whose destination wedding becomes a destination bloodbath, the gorgeous Katie helped us understand why everyone would remain on a cursed island even as guests are getting offed one by one. As America embraces the show’s unique mix of horror movie and soap opera, we talked to Katie (the daughter of David “Partridge Family” Cassidy!) about what awaits her when she returns to the mainland.
Is there a reason you’re a brunette in Harper’s Island even though You’re usually a blonde?
Trish is this rich debutante living in Seattle, so I dyed my hair because it took me out of the California thing. I’m brunette right now, and it’s interesting to see how people react. When I was blonde, it was almost as if people didn’t take me as seriously. Like, “Oh, here’s another blonde girl.” I don’t think it’s fair.Is that also why you didn’t keep those enormous prosthetic boobs you wore in Click?
You know what? I love being flat! When I had to have those giant, giant boobs in Click, it was painful. I realized why people with huge boobs have back problems. I could not wait to be done with that shoot. I think being flat is sexy.

I am just going to put all the updates I have in this one so I don’t scroll the entire website :-)
- You can check out an interview Katie did with Average Girl here! She talks about how she ignores peer pressure of trying to be skinny and staying perfect.
- The paparazzi have been bugging Katie all week in New York City. You can see a video of her entering Madison Square Garden and leaving for the CW Upfront here! She is in the beginning and then again in the end. I suggest just letting it buffer the whole way through and then skipping around.
- Katie did a show awhile back called Listen Up. You can see some captures from it in our gallery and also check out a video of her in it!
- She also was in a short lived show called Sex, Love, and Secrets. Here is a clip.
There is always a bunch of articles floating around about Katie in Melrose Place and Harper’s Island. If you “google news” them you’ll find a bunch. I just don’t post them because in my opinion, they’re rather boring and really repetitive. I just leave the fun stuff for you guys!
By the way – I didn’t get to catch Harper’s Island yet. How was it?! I’m thinking about watching it tonight before I go off to bed. Send in your clues to the killer!

Work has been kicking my butt to pieces! I just wanted to give you guys a heads up – there will be LOTS of updates tonight! I promise!
