Hey guys! As you can see, KCF has a new look. As excited as we are to have this new look, it has been stressful and still is stressful. If you noticed, none of the links at the top work. We are working on fixing this. I just installed Wordpress instead of using Cutenews and since I’m new to it, I’m still learning and trying to work out the kinks. Sorry guys! The most important things like the gallery and updates do work, though. :)
I’d also like to give a big shout to Dirty Laundry Designs for creating the new layout and helping me out with the Wordpress installation!

What a completely refreshing new look for the site; I absolutely love it! I think the previous layout worked well with the darker nature of Katie’s past projects, but now that she’s moved onto different types of drama, the layout is just in time. And it’s just a little bit easier on the eyes, so that never hurts!
Kirstie, Ana, I hope the transition goes well for the two of you, so good luck.

A pretty pretty new design! Love it.
Watched the new season of Supernatural last night. It’s the first time we don’t have Katie. However, Katie’s Ruby was seen in numerous scenes in the opening flashback! There is a new girl plays Ruby (guess Ruby has a new body now). I don’t want to compare the two actors but man, I do miss Katie’s Ruby A LOT.
You’ve got to wonder how much money Katie was asking for since obviously they were still going to use Ruby.
I thought her character was going to be cut altogether, but I guess they just needed a cheaper actress. I’m kind of thinking she was ready to move on anyway.
Genevieve Cortese is less known then Katie, though I wish they had kept Katie. I’m sure she was asking/demanding more than the new girl even could’ve but rightfully so she has a lot more experience under her belt. I loved Katie’s Ruby and I’ve always loved supernatural but I wish they would’ve just gotten rid of Ruby altogether when they couldn’t budget Katie in.

Let’s get that straight: They didn’t cut Katie from the show because she asked for more than they could offer. The decision was a financial one for sure. The new actress will get paid less because in Season 4 Ruby will be appear much less frequently than in Season 3. Katie appeared in 6 out of 16 episodes in the strike shortened Season 3. She was credited as a regular while the new actress would be credited as guest star and who knows if Ruby will be played by the same person in future episodes.
